Atkinson Moss are supporting a leading business in their search or a Finance Business Partner. This role would report to the FP&A Manager, the role involves collaborating closely with Divisional Directors and other senior leaders to support key financial planning activities. The role will be based in and around, Wigan, Liverpool but will also require you to travel to Norwich.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Advisory: Act as a critical financial advisor to Divisional Directors, providing clear analysis and insight, proactively guiding them with data-driven advice, and anticipating needs.

Financial Analysis & Month-End Review: Conduct variance analysis on monthly results, support financial reporting, and help the business understand financial impacts and potential actions.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with divisional leaders in developing budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Presentation & Communication: Present divisional financial performance to senior Finance leaders, suggesting strategic changes to improve outcomes.

Process Improvement: Continuously seek efficiency improvements and creative solutions to optimize finance processes.

Required Skills and Experience

Qualified accountant with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial finance

Strong experience with non-finance teams and large data sets

Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

High attention to detail and strong Excel skills
