Working with a fantastic business based in the Wigan area I am looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. As Finance Manager you will oversee the full Finance function - reporting to an FD and managing a team of 5 across transactions and month end. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant who is looking make a step up and gain invaluable experience in an SME setting. The business are offering a fantastic package with flexible / hybrid working. Duties will include: - Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems. - Manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports. - Analyse financial reports and present findings to the board. - Prepare and present statutory accounts. - Lead the payroll, VAT and HMRC processes team. - Manage the purchase and sales ledger teams. - Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers. - Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries. - Manage audit processes of current systems. - Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met. - Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices The ideal Candidate will be qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA - but QBE Candidates will be considered if experience is relevant.
