Job description

Dot has partnered with a £100M turnover construction group experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this Finance Manager role offers a supportive environment where you'll work closely with the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Weekly wage analysis
  • Standard recharges
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • P11D preparations
  • VAT returns & compliance
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations for financial accuracy and transparency
  • Manage accruals & prepayments
  • Oversee CIS processes, ensuring correct deductions, reporting, and compliance
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure accurate stock adjustments and valuations
  • Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting for strategic decision-making
  • Lead finance improvement projects, tracking and reporting progress

Key Requirements:

  • Fully or near-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), or QBE with extensive experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Prior CIS experience
  • Construction industry experience is preferred, though not essential; first-time movers from practice are encouraged to apply
  • Ambitious, with a desire to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, growth-focused company
  • Strong financial acumen, with attention to accuracy and continuous improvement

The Package:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Annual bonus
  • Pension (6%)
