It's based in Ashton in Makerfield, hours per week 9.00am - 5.00pm, 1 hour for lunch, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 at home) after 6 months training. Its paying £25,000 per annum.

Our client has a great reputation in the area and a very low staff turnover. Due to continued expansion they are looking to strenghen their team. This is a rare opportunity to join such a well run and friendly company.Duties will include:

  • Cash and contactless payment allocations and reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of part payments received and miss allocation of payments received
  • Resolving queries on accounts
  • Allocating payments received to accounts
  • Liaising with sales and suppliers regarding payments and queries
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Check and reformat downloaded Excel files so they are acceptable for import
  • Analysis and some project work
  • Assisting with credit control when required

The successful applicant will:

  • Have intermediate or advanced excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups, and be able to reformat and download excel files)
  • Have a minimum of 2 year's experience of account reconciliation, resolving queries on accounts and cash allocation within a work placement
  • Live within a commutable distance to Ashton in Makerfield
  • Have a confident, clear telephone manner
