Job Title: Estimator Plumbing & Heating

Location: Wigan office
Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000

The role of the Estimator Plumbing & Heating will involve:
Estimator position dealing with a range of plumbing services primarily into the new build market sector
Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison
Liaise with other Estimators, Quality Manager, Directors and Contracts Managers with pricing of tenders and all associated tender submission work
Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
Stay updated on industry trends & pricing enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
Project values range from £100,000 up to £3,000,000
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Plumbing & Heating with:
Must have estimating experience within the HVAC / plumbing & heating market sector
Must have a technical understanding of plumbing and heating systems
Ideally will be familiar with new build contracts
IT literate (Microsoft Office) and strong Excel skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
Full UK driving license
Strong organisation and time management skills
