Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a hardworking Fire Damper Engineer to cover contracts in the North West region. You will be performing routine inspections, testing and repairs of Fire Dampers across commercial, industrial and manufacturing sites. Ideal candidates will have a motivated attitude and well-rounded understanding of compliance standards. Salaries are competitive and comes with great benefits, including overtime rates.
You will be travelling across: Wigan, St Helens, Leigh, Bolton, Prescot, Warrington, Altrincham, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Southport, Chorley, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Heywood, Skelmersdale, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Winsford, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer, for a well-established outfit
- Able to work in line with BS999 guidelines
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ideally you will have experience servicing and installing ductwork
- Flexible to travel as per company requirements
- Hardworking attitude
- Good written ability
- IT literate
The Role:
- Carrying out inspections on Fire Dampers across a range of Client sites
- Routinely testing Fire Dampers
- Conducting required maintenance, such as cleaning, repairs and replacements
- Identify any faults whilst on site and make recommendations
- Writing detailed service and repair reports
- Maintaining high levels of customer service and strong relationships with clients
