Aspion are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Manufacturing company based in the Lancashire area.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to join a thriving business which is well known for its excellent reputation and good business practice.  Excellent working culture and staff treated with such respect at all levels.

Duties 

  • Set up and operate print machinery to optimum levels 
  • Deliver all sign off work in line with production orders 
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, ISO 7 A2 permit 
  • Carry out all print inspections and troubleshoot issues with the printing and quality. 
  • Correct all deficiencies and identify any problems whilst liaising with the shift Manager. 
  • Complete all paperwork and electronic data in a timely manner 
  • Complete shift handovers ensuring the press is in an appropriate operational condition and the next shift briefed on where production is up to. 
  • Plan jobs for the next jobs for other colleagues who take over the shift. 

Skills/Qualifications 

  • Fully trained Flexographic Printer – relevant Print NVQ Level 2 or 3 an advantage. 
  • Experiance of Fischer Krecke 16S or Bobst 20Six CI print machines and advantage 
  • Experience in solvent based inks and wide web presses.
