We are currently working with a small charity who currently require a Registered Nurse based on-site in their Nursing/Dementia service in Wigan for 1 month with the possibility of an extension.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager the successful candidate will be overseeing a unit of up to 16 residents.
The successful candidate must,
- Have an Active Nursing PIN.
- Monitor resident conditions and complete relevant documentation such as risk assessments and updating of care plans.
- Supervise morning medication rounds, ensuring accurate dispensing and assessment of resident needs and complete medication counts for residents.
- Ensure any communication with the MDT is recorded and all MDT referrals are completed.
- Achieve a reduction in medication errors and effectively manage resident falls.
- NHS experience is an advantage.
