I am pleased to be representing a market-leading manufacturing client who supply some of the UK’s leading retail outlets. My client is based in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan and are currently recruiting for a Key Account Executive on a permanent, full-time basis!

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pivotal support to positively impact the day-to-day administration requirements for the company’s biggest clients! They will be required to manage product samples, raise orders in line with customer requirements and create product specification briefs, to name but a few. 

Responsibilities:

  • Organisation of product samples for client meetings
  • Assist the sales team in developing customer relationships, through excellent communication and generally providing exemplary customer service
  • Validation and checking of sales data to ensure business information is aligned (e.g. sales forecasts, price lists and packaging requirements).
  • Meeting with clients, both virtually and in-person, to maintain relationships and resolve issues
  • Maintain database of knowledge and data relating to our customer to thoroughly understand their needs and ways of working

Specification:

  • Previous experience as a Key Account Executive or similar Sales Support role is preferred
  • Previous experience working with retailer systems or knowledge of processes would be advantageous
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel is essential
  • Previous experience working with D365 would be advantageous
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal
