Multiskilled Technician – Requirements  
  • 18th edition
  • Mechanical and electrical skills
  • Experience maintaining mobile welfare units – highly advantageous
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
Multiskilled Technician – Responsibilities  
  • Service and repair of generators, fault finding and diagnosis
  • Ensure mobile welfare units are road worthy by servicing running gear, checking/replacing wheel bearings and brakes, checking legality of tyres and changing if necessary, replacing/repairing side lights
  • Fix/replace hydraulic power packs
  • Change water heaters and pumps
  • Fix/replace internal lighting
  • Upgrade units to Eco specification by installing solar panels, inverters and 12v sockets and lighting
  • Attending sites for any warranty work
