Job Title: Steel Fixer

Location: Precast Factory

Pay: £16 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Steel Fixer to join our team at a busy precast factory. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, full-time work with competitive pay and regular hours. As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for assembling and securing steel reinforcement for concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

* Positioning and securing steel bars, rods, and mesh

* Cutting, bending, and fixing steel to form reinforcement structures

* Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

* Working closely with other members of the team to meet production targets

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, preferably in a precast or construction environment

* Ability to read and work from construction drawings

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Good understanding of health and safety regulations

* Ability to work well as part of a team and meet deadlines

Benefits:

* £16 per hour (PAYE)

* Full-time hours, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
