A respected education provider in Wigan is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join its dynamic HR team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys providing HR solutions, thrives on variety, and is passionate about improving employee experience and well-being.
?? As HR Advisor, you will:
- Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers on policies, procedures, and employment law
- Support employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards
- Lead HR projects aligned with wider people strategies
- Deliver training sessions on HR policies and legal updates
- Offer expert guidance on employment terms, maternity/paternity leave, and flexible working
- Oversee occupational health and employee well-being initiatives
- Prepare insightful HR data reports to inform senior management decisions
- Act as deputy to the Head of HR when required
?? What we’re looking for:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) with strong generalist HR experience
- Confident and clear communicator with excellent written skills
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
