Senior HR Advisor Permanent Role. Salary: £40k - £42k Location: Greater Manchester, WN1I am recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor on behalf of a college based in Greater Manchester. In this role, you will collaborate with Managers to address HR challenges, provide expert advice on policies and employment law, and lead initiatives focused on employee well-being and engagement. You will manage recruitment, performance, and casework, while driving HR projects that align with the College's strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities Senior HR Advisor

  • Advise and support managers on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring smooth operations and policy compliance.
  • Lead HR initiatives and projects, delivering training on employment law, policies, and best practices.
  • Manage recruitment processes in line with safe recruitment, safeguarding, and College procedures.
  • Support complex casework including Disciplinary, Capability, Absence, Grievance, and Performance Management.
  • Provide expert advice on employment terms, family leave, and flexible working.
  • Oversee HR data reporting, delivering practical insights to college leadership.
  • Coordinate occupational health and well-being services, including managing clinics and supporting referrals.
  • Act as deputy for the Head of HR when required.

Skills & Experience

  • CIPD qualified or currently working towards it.
  • Proven HR experience with strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working options available.
  • Some travel may be required.
