Senior HR Advisor - Wigan - Permanent - £40,000 - £43,000 (DOE)

An amazing opportunity has arisen to work for a professional organisation in the heart of Wigan. They pride themselves on their value led approachand are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic team. You will be delivering impactful HR solutions and advice on HR procedures. They are looking for a proactive, results driven individual, you will need to understand HR policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Duties will include:

  • Collaborating with Managers and staff, providing day to day HR solutions and support
  • Helping to resolve HR issues and deliver exceptional results
  • Delivering professional advice on HR procedures, employment matters and terms & conditions of employment
  • Managing employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to make a difference
  • Overseeing HR administration and providing guidance to the HR team while supporting the Head of HR in executing critical HR strategies and processes
  • Providing advice on employment law, conducting performance management, casework and absence management meetings as well as guiding Managers through complex HR matters.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37 hours a week

The ideal candidate will have Senior HR experience and strong communication/administration skills. You will have the ability to prioritise task and deadlines as well as being able to manage a team. CIPD qualified would be ideal (or commitment to working towards it)
