We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to provide expert technical support and leadership in all network-related aspects across our business. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and contributing to the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust, secure, and efficient network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical support and knowledge in all network-related aspects across the business, including Mako and other network technologies.
- Project Delivery: Assist in the delivery of network-related elements of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and deploy network solutions, troubleshoot issues, and offer expert consultation on B2B network links.
- Network Implementation: Leverage deep expertise in IP networks, routing protocols, and hands-on implementations to enhance the infrastructure.
- Meraki Technology & SD-WAN: Focus on supporting and optimizing Meraki technology and SD-WAN solutions for the business.
- Vendor Collaboration: Consult with third-party partners to ensure prompt, cost-effective delivery of networking services and solutions.
- Security & Continuity: Work with colleagues to ensure network security, continuity, and resilience.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams and update the knowledge base to reflect all changes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Certifications: CCNA & CCNP certification (required)
- Experience: Extensive experience with Meraki networks and hands-on implementation on SDWAN
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IP networks, routing protocols, and IP schemes within complex environments.
- Expertise in IPSec and multi-site VPN configuration/setup.
- Wi-Fi deployment and troubleshooting proficiency.
- Familiarity with WAN/LAN environments and network design principles.
- Practical experience with firewalls and network security.
- Proficient user of Microsoft tools for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
Desirable:
- Experience with Mako networks or other comparable technologies.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance.
- Exposure to Project Management practices.
