Automation Engineer
Wigan Warrington Manchester Liverpool / UK Wide
Initial 3-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £30.00p/h - £32.50p/h (Outside IR35)

I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their business on a contract basis. My client are leaders in the build and instal of mechanical equipment within the FMCG industries. This contract is an initial 3 months however there is a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Automation Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Working UK wide as an Automation Engineer within Food & Beverage industries
- Test and troubleshooting after installation is complete
- Assist with any wiring and installation where necessary
- Work closely with electrical team to ensure the product is to customer satisfaction
- Work autonomously and independently as well as in a team
The successful Automation Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong understand of PLCs with hands on experience
- Understand how to build large complex panels
- Strong background in wiring & automation within manufacturing
- Happy to work away anywhere in the UK & Ireland
- Experience within engineering in FMCG or related industries
- Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
