An award-winning law firm is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their team. This role primarily involves dealing with health and welfare cases in the Court of Protection, managing a caseload of welfare matters, including applications pursuant to s16 and s21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of health and welfare cases for vulnerable adults.
- Handle applications under s16 and s21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Work on sensitive and complex cases involving significant life decisions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practicing certificate or a Legal Executive with relevant experience.
- Experience in applications under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Legal Aid Community Care Supervisor standard and Law Society Accreditation in Mental Capacity ("ALR") are desirable but not essential.
