About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Operational Performance and Insight Lead to drive our organization’s performance through data-driven insights and strategic reporting. As part of a high-performing team, you will lead a group of analysts and collaborate with key departments to monitor, analyse, and improve business operations. You will be responsible for developing KPIs, improving reporting systems, and providing actionable insights that will guide senior management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts to deliver high-quality insights.
    • Set objectives, monitor performance, and drive results against key metrics.
  • Operational Performance & Analysis
    • Develop and track KPIs across business functions, ensuring real-time and periodic performance monitoring.
    • Analyse operational data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
    • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior management.
  • Data Reporting & Insights
    • Provide detailed performance reports and executive summaries.
    • Develop a single source of data truth, leveraging tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
    • Establish and maintain standardized reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work with cross-functional teams to align operational performance with business objectives.
    • Present insights to internal stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
    • Implement new tools and systems to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in reporting on end-to-end business performance.
    • Expertise in using multiple systems to create a single source of data truth.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and insights methodology.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in the energy sector.
    • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
