Mpeople Recruitment is excited to support our client, an award-winning manufacturing company based in Standish, Wigan, in their search for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Co-Ordinator to join their team.
The RoleAs the Quality Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality Manager to ensure the company adheres to the latest quality standards. You'll oversee the accuracy and availability of quality documentation, assist in investigating non-compliance issues, and ensure that corrective actions are effectively addressed. You’ll work collaboratively with departments such as Production, Quality Control (QC), and Research & Development (R&D) to drive continual improvement and maintain compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
This is a vital position that combines attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to build productive relationships across the organisation.
Quality Co-Ordinator Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and accurately complete all required documentation within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and assist with management reviews.
- Support and coordinate the internal audit schedule.
- Assist in preparing data for regular non-conformance reviews, including monitoring customer complaints and QMS objectives.
- Collaborate with the Production team to establish and maintain quality standards.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Document and track corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in quality processes.
- Ensure all products and services meet the company’s quality standards.
- Report incidents or issues requiring management intervention using appropriate systems.
- Comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management systems.
- Proven experience in a Quality Co-Ordinator, Quality Assurance, or similar role, preferably in manufacturing, chemical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with quality control methods, product testing, and quality management systems.
- Experience with ISO standards, particularly ISO 14001 and 45001, is highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Skilled in data analysis, performance metrics, and process auditing.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to build positive relationships across teams and departments.
- Must have knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word.
