Position : Transport Co-ordinator

Based : Kraft Heinz, Wigan

Salary Band : 28K per annum

Hours : Nights, four on four off 6 > 6

Role Summary

Due to business growth, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in a position offering career stability and excellent developmental opportunities in a great working environment.

The successful candidate will assist the Transport Team in delivering a successful operation with exceptional standards on behalf a major client and brand name.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Successfully despatching drivers based on load and drivers' hours availability
  • Thorough Driver Brief and Debriefing
  • Continually monitoring of all on site haulier activity to ensure site KPI's are met update relevant systems
  • Conducting and reporting of periodic trailer checks
  • Liaison between Warehouse and end client
  • Deal with defects, vor's, required call outs etc.
  • Ensuring all compliance requirements are recognised and achieved

Experience

Previous transport experience required

Proficient IT skills
