Some areas of the site are ATEX rated.Your new roleAs an Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Fault-finding, planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment- Conducting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical maintenance jobs across the site- Maintaining a wide range of machinery, Mixing Machines, Filling Machines, Packaging Machines, Heat Tunnels, Compressors, Conveyance Systems and plenty more. - Cross-skilling and upskill training - must be committed to learning and development- Inputting of the maintenance management system (CMMS), records of all changes, stores transactions made and work carried out- Work with suppliers on new equipment installation and modification.- Carry out Preventative and Predictive MaintenanceYour role will be a day-based role, with 1 week in 4 being an afternoon shift.What you'll need to succeedThe perfect candidate for this role will be:- Time Served - industry experience as a Maintenance Engineer, starting from Apprenticeship level is required for this role- Formal Engineering Qualification- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment- Knowledge of ATEX rated environments, ideally experience within those ATEX rated environments- Familiar with Manufacturing Engineering practices and methods, i.e. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma etc. - Awareness and experience of hazardous environments- Proactive person with excellent decision-making and communication skills What you'll get in returnCompetitive salary with 10% bonus scheme, also paid overtime opportunitiesComprehensive pension planExcellent holidaysLife assurance and private health care with BupaInvestment into you - Learning and Development opportunities with the aim of career progressionWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
