Key Duties:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering the phone, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Overseeing student attendance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting the management of school events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, newsletters, and other documents.
  • Managing school data and records in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Ordering office supplies and managing inventory.
  • Providing general administrative support to staff and students as required.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for parents and visitors.

Skills Needed:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with school management software (SIMS, Arbor, etc.) is desirable.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
