KS1 Teacher - Wigan

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join one of our primary schools near to Wigan. You will be teaching a Year 1 class so will need excellent knowledge of the curriculum. You must hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) for this role.

The Role:

Communicating effectively with other KS1 teachers to manage the curriculum and lesson plans
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
Building rapport with staff, pupils and parents

Position Details:

Location: Wigan
Position: KS1 Teacher
Type of Work: Temporary
Hours: 8am-4pm
Full time/part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £135 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Feb 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Qualified Teacher Status is essential
Previous experience teaching KS1 pupils

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
