Our client, a leading housing association in Wigan is currently recruiting for a Plumber (Gas Qualified) on a temporary to permanent contract. You will be working on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week and in turn you will receive a competitive salary of £31,512 to £40,000 and Excellent Benefits.

As a successful candidate you will have experience working as a Wet Fitter preferably in social housing.

The duties, of which experience is essential, will include:

  • Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
  • Some Wet Fitting Responsibilities which may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems including replacements of radiators and valves
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork                
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
  • Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out
  • Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
  • Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers  

The ideal candidate will have:
