Our client, a leading housing association in Wigan, is seeking a Plumber (Gas Qualified) for a temporary to permanent contract.
The position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with a competitive salary ranging from £31,512 to £40,000 along with excellent benefits.
Candidates should have experience as a Wet Fitter, preferably in social housing, and be skilled in servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic heating systems.
Essential qualifications include an NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, City and Guilds, and ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
A full UK driving license and an understanding of gas legislation are also required for this role.

Our client, a leading housing association in Wigan is currently recruiting for a Plumber (Gas Qualified) on a temporary to permanent contract. You will be working on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week and in turn you will receive a competitive salary of £31,512 to £40,000 and Excellent Benefits.

As a successful candidate you will have experience working as a Wet Fitter preferably in social housing.

The duties, of which experience is essential, will include:

Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems
Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
Some Wet Fitting Responsibilities which may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems including replacements of radiators and valves
Completion of all relevant paperwork
Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out
Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

The ideal candidate will have:

An NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent/ City and Guilds
ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
Understanding of gas legislation
A full UK driving license
