About the CSR Compliance Officer job

The CSR Compliance Officer will coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of CSR and compliance programs within our fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role ensures the organisation adheres to UK regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and sustainability goals while promoting a culture of responsible manufacturing. Key tasks

  • Assist with the delivery of CSR strategies aligned with the company’s mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and ethical sourcing.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure ethical practices across the supply chain, including compliance with Modern Slavery Act requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant UK and EU laws, including food safety standards, environmental regulations, and employment laws.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.

About You

  • Degree in Sustainability, Business Management, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Understanding of environmental impact assessments and carbon footprint analysis.
  • knowledge of UK compliance regulations, such as food safety standards and environmental legislation.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passionate about ethical and sustainable practices in the food industry.

The CSR Compliance Officerjob (ref:8853) is paying£27,000according to your experience.
