An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Management Trainee to join our operational team at our Head Office in Ashton in Makerfield.

This role involves providing insights and data-driven recommendations to drive financial performance, optimise pricing strategies, and improve operational efficiency across the business.

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Providing regular financial reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Evaluating and suggesting potential capital investments.
  • Reviewing and adjusting pricing across the business.
  • Monitoring the financial impacts of stock adjustments and disposals.
  • Acting as a business partner between finance and operational departments.
  • Assisting in the development of revenue forecasts and yearly budgets.
  • Supporting annual stock audits.

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to identify and extract data for specific commercial analysis.
  • Ability to analyse and present data that can be used to shape key commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Confident in challenging performance across the organisation including with senior managers.
  • Ability to develop innovative new performance ideas.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
