Supply teaching can offer you the potential to secure long-term and permanent roles or provide you with flexibility to work days that suit you.Your new roleIn this role, you will be responsible for covering classes across KS1, in day-to-day roles, these lessons will be pre-planned, so it is all about making sure they are delivered in an engaging and exciting way to the pupils. If you are ever required on a short or long-term basis, then you will be expected to plan for these lessons, so you will need to be flexible in your approach to ensure curriculum is being met depending on the classes you will be covering.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You will need to be able to manage groups of children and be able to manage challenging behaviour.
