Your new companyHays works with primary schools across the Wigan, Chorley and surrounding areas to fill their EYFS/KS1 teaching jobs, whether on a day-to-day, short or long-term basis. Since the return from half-term, we have seen an increase in the need for supply teachers to cover on a long-term basis. We work with a variety of different schools across the area, including mainstream and SEN schools, so if you are looking for your next role, whether that be full-time or part-time, then please get in touch.Your new roleIn the job roles available as EYFS/KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for covering various classes including Nursery, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and working with various TA delivering pre-planned lessons. For any short or long term positions, you would be expected to take over as the class teacher by planning, marking and assessing work. Being a supply teacher is all about being flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of your class.
