There is always a high demand for supply cover, particularly in KS2, and there is a particularly high demand come January. We are currently seeing an increase in demand for supply teachers and so, with that in mind, we're looking for individuals who are confident in teaching this age range and can come in and hit the ground running. This could be perfect if you only want to work part-time, if you're new to teaching or if you'd like to take a step back from all the full responsibilities as a full-class teacher. We deal with temporary and permanent roles, so if you'd like to know more, please get in touch.Your new roleSupply cover teachers are responsible for covering lessons that are left absent by the class teacher, so in this role you will be using existing lesson plans left for the class and making sure these are carried out to a high standard. You will need to ensure pupils are still fully engaged with the learning and be adaptable when required. You should be able to build relationships quickly and hold strong behaviour management skills. This is a great role to broaden your experience working in various schools and year groups and to expand your knowledge.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running.
