We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a primary school in Wigan!

We are looking for an experienced EYFS teacher who has a minimum of 1 years' experience, to work in a temp role covering a maternity leave from November 2024 until July 2025. You will be responsible for a class of 29 children and have the support of a full-time teaching assistant in the classroom. Working 5 days a week from 8.30am to 3.30pm, with daily pay rates ranging from £120-£189.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in EYFS teaching and be passionate about providing a high-quality education to young children. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also have a good understanding of the EYFS framework and be able to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote learning and development.

To join us and be successful in this primary teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status with Early Years Specialism.
  • Experience of working in EYFS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
