Your new companyWe're currently working with a primary school in the local Wigan area who are looking to secure an experienced Year 5 Teacher to start after October half-term until Christmas with a good chance of being extended. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members who have a dedication to make sure their pupils perform at their absolute best.At Hays, we're here with you every step of the way - we can connect you with opportunities that match your priorities and goals.Your new roleBy taking on the job role as class teacher, you will be fully responsible for planning and delivering fun and engaging lessons to pupils, as well as being adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils. You should hold good knowledge of KS2 in order to prepare this year 5 for their final year in primary school and SATs. You will also be expected to attend staff meetings and parents' evenings. You will need to maintain discipline in this class to ensure pupils remain engaged and willing to learn. Pupils should be pushed to achieve their potential. You will be supported by an experienced TA.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children.
