Bridgeman Recruitment Services (Agency) has been instructed to recruit for a Skilled Electrical Quantity Surveyor, to join a well-established and award-winning construction company based in Wigan.


This role will be based at my clients Wigan office but will require regional travel to visit current projects, meet with clients and attend meetings. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on major contracts within the electrical sector.


Duties include but are not limited to:
To be involved in negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials and plant as required in compliance with company procedure
To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out.
To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing is met at all times.
To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. Includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts.
Required Skills and Experience:
Relevant Degree or Qualifications
Experience of managing multiple projects.
Experience working within the Electrical division
Proven experience of developing client relationships.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.
