About the Company

Our client is a respected provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services, known for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, and healthcare. Due to an expanding portfolio of projects, they are looking for a skilledM&E Quantity Surveyorto join their team, overseeing the financial management and cost control of various M&E projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.

  • Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting on project progress.

  • Work closely with project management teams to ensure project costs remain within budget.


What Were Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the M&E sector.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within building services.

  • Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
