We are looking to recruit a versatile and competent Vehicle Valeter for a vehicle manufacturing business based in Bolton, to take responsibility for the final stage of the vehicle build process, preparing vehicles to a high standard for delivery.

We welcome applications from candidates from a vehicle finishing background, Valeters, candidates with dealership backgrounds and Pre Delivery Inspection experience

Location of Vehicle Valeter role: Westhoughton


Duties of the Vehicle Valeter role:

  • Responsible for cleaning our specialist vehicles, both inside and out, including final buffing when required
  • Carrying out final finishing tasks such as fitting number plates and drilling out holes
  • Reporting any damages/faults found to the appropriate person
  • Booking new vehicles on to site
  • Competent in the use of small hand tools and power tools
  • Willingness to learn basic conversion skills to assist with other departments when necessary
  • Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements

What we need from you for this Vehicle Valeter role:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Driving license essential, covering up to 5 tonnes is desirable
  • Circa 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Experience using tools competently in previous roles
  • Works well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Experience working independently, and to be supportive within a wider team
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, right-first-time attitude
