8 Recruitment are working with an established contractor specialising in fire safety and electrical services throughout the UK who are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer on a temporary project until early 2025.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in occupied high rise social housing blocks working with the teams and tenants to ensure the work is completed on time

The Role

  • Be the first point of contact for residents and Scheme Managers on site with regards to the programme/appointments.
  • Booking appointments face to face or over the phone with residents/customers for planned works.
  • Attending project pre-start meetings and progress meetings.
  • Regular communication with the client with regards to safeguarding concerns and any difficulties with residents.
  • Writing letters to confirm appointments and informing residents of planned works.
  • Aftercare visits and collating Customer Satisfaction Forms when work is complete and reporting findings for Quality Assurance.
  • Managing & resolving difficulties and complaints regarding planned work by negotiating with all parties
  • Supporting and planning social value events within the community
  • Creating resident liaison strategies for all projects and contracts.

  • Ability to deal with a high- pressure environment, difficult situations and negotiation skills
  • Confident and self- motivated
  • Excellent team work & lone working skills
  • Comfortable with talking to large groups of people and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary workforce
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to work
  • Previous experience within a similar role or setting carrying out duties as above
