We are seeking an Art Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school on a long-term maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students' creativity across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages artistic expression and personal development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver innovative and creative lessons to inspire a love of art.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage students to explore various artistic techniques and mediums.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including exhibitions and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

We are looking for a dedicated Art Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Art at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).
  • A passion for fostering creativity and a deep understanding of various art forms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to student success and well-being.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
