We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Teachers with valuable classroom experience to support an Ofsted rated 'Good' school who have mutual respect at the core of its ethos. This school based in the west of Wigan are looking for support on an ad-hoc, day-to-day basis, as well as in longer-term roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects in line with the curriculum.
  • Step into a variety of classroom environments, maintaining high standards of teaching.
  • Have the ability and willingness to take on the responsibilities of a full time teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt as necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leadership.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Valuable classroom experience working with students, ensuring successful lesson delivery.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to quickly adapt to different environments.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
