Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a well-respected 11-16 secondary school in Wigan. This full-time role is set to begin after Easter and will run until July 2025, with the potential for extension until Christmas.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for literature and language among students. You will be joining a supportive and well-structured department, committed to maintaining a positive learning environment.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Satisfactory references covering the last two years.
- Overseas police check (if applicable).
