Empowering Learning are excited to be recruiting a Girls' PE Teacher for a dynamic and welcoming secondary school in Wigan. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate Girls' PE Teacher to inspire students, promote health and fitness, and develop a love for physical education.

Key Responsibilities of the Girls' PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons for girls across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Encourage students to participate in a range of sports and physical activities, fostering teamwork and resilience.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular sporting events and after-school clubs.
  • Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment as a committed Girls' PE Teacher.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to support their development.

Requirements to be a Girls' PE Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience or specialism in teaching PE, with a focus on girls' education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A proactive and inspiring approach to teaching as a Girls' PE Teacher.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
