Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Wigan who are seeking a Maths Teacher for a long-term role due to start in January 2025. This is a full-time, 2 term position, continuing until the end of the academic year in July. Our client school are seeking a Maths Teacher to teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful Maths Teacher will be joining an Ofsted graded Good school in Wigan who aim to be a living faith community making every effort to inspire pupils to make the world a better place. The schools mission statement is underpinned by the schools ACTIONS which form the foundation of their relationships with each other. Equal emphasis is given to every pupil achieving their potential, both academically and spiritually.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this Maths Teacher position based in Wigan the essentials are:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
