Tradewind are recruiting for a Maths Teacher for a position due to start in January 2025 at one of our Wigan client secondary schools
The outline for the Maths Teacher position based in Wigan is below:
- Teacher of Maths (KS3 and KS4)
- Ofsted rated 'good' Wigan school
- Full-time position
- Continuing until April 2025 in the first instance
- Pay is up to MPS6, £223.62 per day
The mathematics team at our client Wigan secondary school are passionate about delivering a high-quality curriculum that develops key skills such as logical reasoning, problem solving and perseverance, but which also promotes an appreciation of the importance of maths in society both past and present.
To be considered for this Maths Teacher position based in Wigan the essentials are:
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, following the UK national curriculum
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
- Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
