Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,000 £32,500 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (plus 810 sleep-ins per month)

We are recruiting Residential Support Workers and Senior Residential Support Workers on behalf of a respected care provider in the Wigan area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering career progression, a supportive team environment, and the chance to truly change lives.
The RoleYou will be providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people living in residential settings. Duties include:
Supporting with daily routines, education, and activities
Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing
Working proactively to maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Collaborating with colleagues and professionals in line with care plans
Youll be working on a fair rota basis, with no back-to-back shifts. A typical working pattern includes:
10:00am 11:00pm shift
Followed by a sleep-in (11:00pm 7:30am)
Then handover (7:30am 10:00am)
Full UK driving licence essential
Right to Work in the UK full time - sponsorship switch is not available
Transferable skills welcome we are open to candidates with experience in youth work, education, SEN support, or similar roles
For Senior Support Worker roles:
Must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Proven experience in childrens residential care settings
