Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Wigan Council's Family and Friends Team as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £40 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Hold a caseload of approximately 8 Family and Friends Foster Carer households.
  • Supervise 1 supervising social worker and 2 fostering support workers - providing monthly reflective and case management supervision and quality assurance of their work.
  • Using Power BI to track data to ensure compliance of visits, annual reviews, etc.
  • Undertake screenings requests for regulation 24 and viability assessments to make informed decisions whether a visit should progress.
  • Support workers at relevant meetings and chair placement stability meetings when required.
  • Support the team manager and cover their role when they are not in.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work England registered
  • Social Work degree or equivalent
