Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers.
  • Undertake comprehensive connected carers assessments, Viability assessments and reg 24 assessments and provide support to friends and family foster carers.
  • Supervise and support foster carers in meeting the needs of looked after children using a trauma informed approach.
  • Complete Form F Assessments and conduct initial screenings for prospective foster carers.
  • Carry out initial visits and liaise with external agencies.
  • Conduct connected persons assessments, ensuring the best outcomes for children.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:

  • Experience: 1-3 years working within a similar team, with a strong track record in completing Form F's, SGOs, and connected persons assessments.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Social Work.
  • Must be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
