SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for work in Wigan from March?

A Primary School in central Wigan is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday, with daily pay rates £85-£90. This role is to work 32.5 hours per week from March until summer.

This Wigan school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive KS2 team. This role is to work with small groups of children who require additional support within KS2. There is a varying degree of needs within KS2 which include Autism, ADHD and Global delay.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) or higher
  • Experience of working with SEND
  • Knowledge of the intervention strategies
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
