Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN TA to join a 1-form entry Catholic Primary School in Wigan. The role is to start in November and will continue until the end of the academic year. This is a full time long- term role working 5 days a week 8.30am -3.30pm, daily pay rate from £84-£90 a day. The school in Wigan are looking to appoint an experienced SEN TA who will be working across reception and year 1 supporting children with additional needs.

Located in Wigan this school has a good reputation for providing a fully inclusive school environment. The school is looking to appoint a strong SEN teaching assistant who must have good de-escalation techniques and have experience of working with children with ASD/Global delay and Speech and Language difficulties. Experience of the EYFS framework is essential.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • NVQ level 2 qualification
  • Experience of working with SEN children
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Experience of supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD and global delay
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
