Position: SEN Maths Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring SEN Teacher to join our supportive team in Wigan. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with the SENCO and support staff.
  • Provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that encourages the development of social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible support for each child.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to meet diverse needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
