SEN Teacher - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join a lovely school near to Wigan. Qualified teacher status and previous experience within a specialist school is essential for this position.

This is a full time role to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year.

The Role:

Developing and delivering engaging lessons
Differentiating learning activities to meet individual needs
Working collaboratively with other staff and agencies
De-escalating behaviour in a positive but effective manner

Position Details:

Location: Wigan
Position: SEN Teacher
Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: 170 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within in the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience of teaching within an SEN school/specialist provision
QTS is essential
Team Teach training would be highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
