SEN Teacher - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join a lovely school near to Wigan. Qualified teacher status and previous experience within a specialist school is essential for this position.

This is a full time role to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year.

The Role:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Differentiating learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Working collaboratively with other staff and agencies
  • De-escalating behaviour in a positive but effective manner

  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 170 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within in the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience of teaching within an SEN school/specialist provision
  • QTS is essential
  • Team Teach training would be highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
