Sports Coach

Empowering Learning are working closely with a vibrant school in Wigan supporting children and young people who struggle with with SLD, PMLD, autism and complex need. The ideal candidate should be hands on and confident in delivering sports sessions (PE) to children and young people.

Your Role

As a Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

-Delivering and planning sports sessions to various age groups including (Warmer/Main activity/ Cool down) MUST have experience

-Promoting a healthy and balanced diet

-Encouraging young people with their proactive learning

- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.

- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

- Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential.

- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
